Capt. Robert Rommell Sr. was the captain of the Tiny Bubbles when it pulled into Frankfort, brand new, in 1974 under the ownership of Don Beyette. When Don decided to sell the boat, and Robert to "retire" Capt. Robert Jr. bought the boat. He continued to run the boat (with his dad sometimes) and when David was 11 yrs old, they brought him on as full-time deckhand. At 20 yrs old, in 2002, David obtained his captains license and bought the boat from Robert to continue the Rommell/Tiny Bubbles Tradition.
